For Iranian families abroad

Growing up far from Iran?

Nikipoo teaches in Persian, level by level, with the same letters, words and lessons as the Iranian school textbook. For a child who speaks Persian at home but goes to school in English, it is a playful way to learn to read and write Persian — with a narrator reading every instruction aloud.

  • The Persian alphabet in textbook order, letter by letter
  • Reading, spelling and sentence building for Grades 1–6
  • Math and science practice in Persian
  • Works in any browser — iPhone, iPad or computer — with no install

Niki

Hi, I'm Niki!

I'm with you in every game: I show you the way, think with you, and when you earn a star I'm the happiest of all.

Poo

And I'm Poo!

Niki's little bird friend. If you get stuck, make a mistake or get tired, I come with a hint and lots of cheering.

Four subjects, one school

Every game is tied to a concept from the school textbook, and its levels go step by step from easy to hard.

Games with worlds of their own

Each one has its own scene, hero and story — tap a game to see how it plays.

For parents

Relax — your child is busy learning

  • Several children on one phone, each with their own grade and progress
  • A report for each child: stars, play time, accuracy, and where more practice is needed
  • A daily time limit, with a kind invitation to take a break
  • The parents' section sits behind a multiplication question, so children don't change the settings
  • Mistakes are never scolded; the child is encouraged to try again
  • No chat, no sign-up; after installing, the app works offline

How much is free?

In every textbook lesson, about 10% of the stages are free. A few simple steps by a parent — a family invite code, a teacher's class code, a phone number or e-mail for the weekly report, or installing another family app — each add 5% to every lesson, up to 30%. Any stage the child has already played stays open. The full version is a one-time purchase, with no subscription.

An English edition is on the way

We are building English versions of our games — not word-for-word translations, but lessons rewritten for English (phonics, sight words and English-language math stories). This site will list them here as soon as they are ready.

Frequently asked questions

Is Nikipoo available in English?

Not yet. Today the app, its narrator and its lessons are in Persian and follow the Iranian school curriculum. We are preparing an English edition with lessons written for English, not translated word for word.

Who is Nikipoo for?

For primary school children, Grade 1 to 6 (about 6 to 12 years old), who speak or are learning Persian. Each child's grade is set in their profile, and every game shows the levels of that grade.

Can my child learn Persian with it if we live abroad?

Yes — that is one of the best uses of the app today. The Persian games teach the alphabet in textbook order, then reading, spelling and sentence building, with a narrator reading every instruction aloud.

Does it work on iPhone or a computer?

Yes. Open the online version at nikipoo.ir/app — it runs in Safari on iPhone and iPad and in Chrome or Edge on a computer, with no install. Progress is saved in that browser.

Can I buy the full version from outside Iran?

For now, purchases go through Iranian payment methods (Iranian app stores or an Iranian bank card on the web). The free part of every game works for everyone, everywhere.

What happens when my child makes a mistake?

Nothing bad. Niki and Poo encourage and guide the child to try again; the game never locks because of a mistake.

Is it safe for children?

The parents' section sits behind a multiplication question. There is no chat, no sign-up and no contact with strangers in the app.
