English

Nikipoo is in Persian (Farsi) today — narrator, texts and lessons follow the Iranian school curriculum. An English edition is on the way.

Privacy Policy — Nikipoo School

Last updated: 2026-10-17

Nikipoo School and its family of apps are made for primary school children. We install these apps for our own children, and we treat your child's data with the same care.

Information we collect

Nikipoo has no user accounts. No sign-up, phone number or email is required.

What you enter — your child's first name or nickname, school grade and avatar — and game progress (levels, stars, coins) are stored on the device. We have no access to them.

What leaves the device

  • Anonymous usage statistics (Google Firebase Analytics), e.g. "level 12 of Temsah was completed" or "a hint was used", so we can see which levels are too hard. No child name, no user ID and no advertising ID is sent, and the app strips any text that could be a name before sending. In the web version (nikipoo.ir/app) the same anonymous statistics go to the nikipoo.ir server instead of Google, with a random browser ID used only to count visitors (reset when site data is cleared); no IP address is stored and the data is deleted after at most 13 months. The site's own pages are counted the same way: the page name, the site you came from (e.g. google.com, not the full address), a campaign tag if the link carries one, how long the web app took to load, and the general kind of device and browser (e.g. "mobile, Android, Chrome").
  • Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics): a technical description of the error, device model and app version — no personal information.
  • Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging) for reminders and new-version news. You can turn them off in Android settings at any time.

Cloud backup (optional)

In the Cafe Bazaar version a parent can turn on cloud backup in the parents' section, so progress survives a phone change. It is off by default. When on, your child's name, grade, avatar and progress are kept in your own Cafe Bazaar account storage — not on our servers. Turning it off stops the upload.

Backup with a code (optional)

In every version (Cafe Bazaar, Myket, Google Play and the web version) a parent can turn on "backup progress with a code" in the parents' section. It is off by default. When on, your child's name, grade, avatar, progress, coins and badges are kept on the Nikipoo server (nikipoo.ir, hosted in Iran) under a random code (like NKP-XXXXX-XXXXX), so entering the same code on another phone or browser brings them back. No account, phone number or e-mail is collected; anyone who has the code can reach this progress, so keep the code to yourself. Turning it off deletes the copy on the server. In the web version the same code is also the purchase restore code.

Gift codes and referrals: if you enter a gift code or a friend's code, our server records only which family code used it (and, for a referral, which family code referred you) — no name, phone number or information about the child.

Weekly report for parents (optional)

In "more free stages" (behind the parental gate) you may give your own mobile number or e-mail so we can send only a weekly progress report — no marketing messages. It happens only when you tick the consent box, and it is optional. Our Nikipoo server keeps only that number or e-mail, the time of consent, a random install id (not a device id) and, if code backup is on, your family code — no information about the child, nothing in statistics, and it is never shared. To delete it or stop the messages, write to the address below.

Permissions

Nikipoo does not request your camera, microphone, contacts, location, SMS or personal files — only internet access (for the above) and permission to show notifications.

Advertising

The free version on Cafe Bazaar and Myket shows ads from the Iranian ad network Adivery. Any purchase (a grade, a game, the full version or "no ads") removes ads permanently. The Google Play version shows no ads and contains no advertising library.

Rules we keep for children:

  • No ads during gameplay. Full-screen ads only between two levels after a success, at least 3 minutes apart, with a daily cap. Banners only on the level map and the shop, away from the play button and labelled «تبلیغ» (ad).
  • No ads in the first session or before 3 levels are completed.
  • Rewarded videos (e.g. for Nikipoo coins) play only when the child taps the button for it — at most 3 a day.
  • Ads are not personalised on the child's behaviour: we give Adivery no information about the child (name, grade, progress), set no user ID, and have removed the advertising-ID permission from the app. To deliver an ad, the Adivery library sends technical device data (model, Android version, language, connection type, IP address, app package) to Adivery's servers; on Android 12 and older it may also read the device advertising ID. The Adivery library has no separate "child-directed" setting, so ads are non-personalised as far as that library allows — any purchase removes ads completely.
  • The app has no location access, and the parts of the library related to location or to uninstalled-app tracking are disabled in our app.

In-app purchases

Part of every game is always free. The full version is a one-time purchase, no subscription. Payment is handled entirely by the store (Cafe Bazaar / Myket) and we never see your payment details. A parental gate (a maths question) appears before every purchase so a child cannot buy alone.

Purchases in the web version (nikipoo.ir/app) go through the PayPing payment gateway; only the bank and PayPing see your card number. Our server keeps only the product, amount, time, PayPing tracking code, the masked card number PayPing sends back (e.g. 6037******1234) and a random restore code shown to you after payment. A PayPing payment collects no name, phone number or e-mail.

Card-to-card payment (web version and teacher licence): the "payment details" form asks the buyer (parent or teacher) for a surname, mobile number and e-mail, plus an optional note, so we can find and confirm the transfer. We use that e-mail only to send the payment receipt, the activation notice and the restore or login code from support@nikipoo.ir — no newsletters, no advertising — and we never share these details.

Nothing about the child is collected in any case. The restore code only brings your purchases back in another browser or device; on request we delete the purchase record and contact details.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your child's information
  • We do not share your child's personal information (name, grade, progress) with advertising networks
  • We do not build advertising profiles of children
  • There is no chat or contact with strangers
  • There are no outbound social media links in the children's section

Deleting information

Uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings erases everything on the device. In the parents' section you can also delete a profile or turn cloud backup or code backup off (turning code backup off deletes the server copy). Anonymous statistics are linked to no person and are deleted automatically by Google after its retention period.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date above is updated, and for significant changes we notify you inside the app.
